The best advice I can give would be to memorize the formulas; at least the most common ones. There are a lot of them. You need to have a very good understanding of financial markets, securities, ratio analysis and valuations methods. My exam contained many questions relating to Study Unit 2 - Financial Market and Securities, Study Unit 3 - Valuation Methods and Cost of Capital and Study Unit 6 - Ratio Analysis.
Also make sure you are fluent in Study Unit 1. You should be able to recite the "Ethics for Management Accountant" section. I also had several questions and an essay question about COSO ERM frame work.
