    I posted this in the Accounting Community but didnt get any responses.

    I just order this calculator and never used it but read up on the CMA guide it could help save some time. For CMA Exam 2 , what main functions should i focus on and learn on the Texas Instrument BA Plus calculator?

    you don't have to use the PV and FV tables if you have the BA plus II. You enter that information in the cash flows section of the calculator. You can calculate IRR, NPV, PB, PV, and FV. Just be careful because your answer will not be identical to the multiple choice answers because the PV and FV tables provided during the exam round down the decimals and the calculator does not. Also pay extra attention when entering cash flows for the final year of a piece of equipment you need to do your gain/loss of the equipment and tax effect calculation prior to entering that cash flow in

    I recently took the exam.  It's better to use a simple calculator and PV, FV sheets.  That way you are preparing exactly to match the exam format at prometic.
