    Hi all-

Congrats to everyone who passed and best of luck to all who will be taking the exams again. These are exhausting exams and we all know how much work goes into it.

I used the Gleim premium review course and took part 1 in February. I passed on my first attempt and would highly recommend the Gleim materials. I have been told that Gleim works better for those of us with a stronger accounting background, while Wiley goes more in depth into the accounting fundamentals. I definitely thought part 1 was challenging, but I scored strong and felt well-prepared with Gleim. It's a bit more wallet friendly than Wiley as well.

Enjoy the rest of your week,

    Madisen

Congrats to you as well. I took part 1 in February and passed as well. Gleim is definitely for those of us with a strong accounting background. Much of the content assumes you already know the fundamentals of managerial accounting. It's the same with the CPA review course...they assume you have a strong fundamental background in financial accounting/auditing/tax. It's still a great program though...I always feel well prepared for the exams and I've achieved very strong scores. Gleim is definitely wallet friendly. The price is very reasonable. I've never heard of Surgent CMA review.

Never heard of Surgent, I used Gleim as well and I passed both exams with high score.
I used Gleim but I also use YouTube education and google whatever I did understand from the textbook.
Also, I highly recommended to use the study guid download from IMA, because it narrows the scope and you will know what Gleim does not cover.
    Good luck on your exam!

I've never watched YouTube videos to supplement the Gleim study materials but I like that idea. I'll give it a try.

Yes, Ryan, Youtube education helped a lot.

I used Gleim for both exams, but personally I used Gleim mainly for its test bank. For part one, cost and variance measures, the textbook is not easy to understand for me, so I watched the videos from Tony Bell about cost and variances measures, and I like his explanation much better.
