I've sat for both exams and cleared them and found the time constraint the only issue while going through the essays.
the problems in the gliem book were harder but there's no point thinking about that. The questions are entirely conceptual so if you've understood the study material you won't find it that difficult. Download the practice material provided by IMA. You should find around 20 essays in that from previous exams. That should give you an idea. If you want the actual feel of the exam then gliem provides practice essay questions on their online console. 1st chapter is free!
