  • 1.  Passed in first attempt

    Friends:

Got the results today for the 2nd Part and passed it. I had taken part 1 in October and passed that and took Part 2 In January.
I would like to share that the key to success here is Focus. I spent 6 weeks on each part and last few weeks I was aggressively studying 4-6 hours a day. I am a full time working mom and it was definitely not easy shuffling my duties. But what I learnt was that understanding the concept and then answering the required questions in Gleim were enough. Don't get into trying to solve as many questions as you can, instead focus on the answers you got incorrect.

I think the main focus on your exam day should be on your time. Keep strict focus on your time allotment. I made sure I stayed within the time I allotted for each 25 questions. So I broke down the 3 hours in such a way that I made sure I finished 25 questions every 45 minutes. I stayed right on time and believe me I was left with only 3-4 minutes before the test ended and moved onto essay questions.

    Hope this helps!!!
Good luck and best wishes to all of you.

Congratulations! I took the first part in October and passed as well and then took the second part in February and am still waiting on my results. I also used Gleim for CMA and think the program is great! I used Gleim for my Enrolled Agent studies a few years back and passed all three parts on the first try as well. If I pursue CPA later in my career I plan to use Gleim again.
