    Good Morning Fellow Accounting and Finance Professionals, 

    I am conducting research on schools for online graduate programs in accounting.  Anyone have thoughts they can share:  good/bad experiences, financial aid insight and tips to look for when searching?  Im trying to find a school with an AACSB accreditation.

    ​Hi Kayla,

    I went thru Auburn University in Alabama for my Master's of Accountancy degree. It was a wonderful experience. There is no difference in assignments for the on-line vs on-campus students so we come out with the same degree. They record the on-campus class and the on-line students are expected to watch the video and comment on message boards with a day or two of the posting. Skype and other telecommuting technology is used for group assignments and meeting with professors. There is a 3 day seminar at the end of the program in Auburn, AL that both on-campus and on-line students attend. By the time you get there, you have built relationships with the other students through the message boards and group projects so its a exciting to meet your peers in person. I highly recommend Auburn.

    That is good to know about the residency-type visit online students are required to attend.  Thank you providing details about the online structure.  I am happy to let you know, Auburn is already on the list!
